Call For Papers and Posters

Each Spring the Arizona-Nevada Academy of Science hosts an interdisciplinary gathering to discuss science, mathematics, and engineering at an academic institution in either Arizona or Nevada.

Abstracts are due March 27th, 2026

Abstracts are submitted as attachments to the registration form.

Registration is FREE for all students! Travel grants are also available to students to defray the cost of transportation.


The 2026 meeting will be held on April 18, 2026 at Arizona Natural History Museum and The Post.

Faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, resource agency personnel, and others are invited to present their research in all areas of science and mathematics during oral paper sessions or a combined poster session. Be sure to preregister. Due to space limitations, there will be no onsite registration.

Each year, the Arizona-Nevada Academy of Science offers awards to members of the community in categories including: Outstanding K-12 Teachers, Outstanding Leader in Science Education, and student scholarships.

Recipients of many of these awards are announced during the awards luncheon at the Annual Meeting. Please consider applying or nominating someone for one of these awards.

The Academy also supports STEM students (high school, undergraduate and graduate) with research grants and travel grants to present their work at scientific meetings.
